I look forward to hearing what you think of the Buffy book. We have it, but I haven't dived in yet.

I'm about a third of the way through it and I'm liking it quite a lot. Some of it I don't agree with; some of it strains a bit (some a bit more than a bit) to make its point. But some of it is good and thoughtful and interesting, which is mostly what I ask of essays.

So far, I particularly liked the first essay on Faith and happiness, which is kind of Nietzsche vs Plato.

The essays aren't terribly long and it's a good book to read in short spaces of time.
